EY Also Taking Up Residence in Nashville
Just a little over a week ago we, along with the rest of Nashville, were excited to see Amazon was moving their southern hub to the Music City. Because another announcement was only a few hours before Amazon’s, it fell in the shadows. However, it is not lost on us that Ernst and Young, one of the largest accounting firms in the world, deciding they will base a new, national tax tech hub on Music Row in Nashville is a big deal, too!
EY, formerly known as Ernst and Young, plans to invest $22 million and hire 600 new IT and tax professionals. Noting the fun and excitement the city of Nashville has, Ernst and Young said they looked at 18 cities closely before making their decision. Nashville kept rising above the rest and was the final decision based on its educated workforce in the growing IT sector, along with the ability to attract and retain talent.
Turfmates is thrilled to see all of the buzz about Nashville bringing new people in, providing incredible job opportunities for the people here, and enriching our city taking it to the next level of places to be!
